The goal is to raise awareness. I am glad to do what I can to help.
It’s been a long day and I’m glad to be here….but I don’t have much to say. There’s a lot on my mind but it is very jumbled.
I’m already touched by a family with a daughter who has Down’s (not a Down’s baby – thank you, Jeanette!). I’m learning to sign and I suspect I am slower than Sydney! I’m thinking I should stop by weekly to learn whatever she’s learning so I don’t get left behind.
A week ago, a friend told me how hard it is to tell parents that their child is (or might be) autistic. She does assessments for a living. Then Barbara sponsored a Healing Carnival that led me to read the blogs of many parents (and others) affected by autism. I’m compiling a list of sites for my friend to provide to parents who are learning to cope. Please let me know if you would like your site to be included on the list.
Blessings to the land of blog! Cheers to you, my friends!
Hey Fran, Great to see you this evening!! So, wouldn’t you know it, I have a good friend who has a son with Autism. He was diagnosed just this year. Cody is only a few months older than Anthony. My friend Tina jumped right in and is a great source of information on what she has discovered this year. Check out their site at

Thanks Jeanette! It was great to see you too – if only briefly. Thanks for the link.
